Asimismo, forma parte del concatenamiento de los picos nevados de la cordillera de Vilcabamba y andes del sur. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">El rango altitudinal va desde los 2,900 hasta los 5,235 metros sobre el nivel del mar, sin embargo, donde encontraremos el glaciar de Ampay.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Al ingresar al Santuario Nacional de Ampay podremos observar y contemplar una enorme diversidad de riachuelos y manantiales, caracter\u00edsticos del lugar. Anteriormente era utilizada cada a\u00f1o como \u00e1rbol navide\u00f1o por las familias. Es tambi\u00e9n un animal diurno, muy t\u00edmido y arisco, vive por 10 a\u00f1os edad promedio. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Este venado se caracteriza por vivir en faldeos rocosos pobres en vegetaci\u00f3n entre 1,800 y 5,500 msnm.
