The tour begins with pick-up time at your hotel, and then we go to San Pedro Market. This market is the most traditional in Cusco city, where you can observe native people wearing traditional costumes while they sell their products such as varieties of potatoes, sweet potatoes, veggies, all kinds of meat, foods, and souvenirs.

After observing and learning about this important market, it will be time to take the VAN which will take us to the Planetarium. The Planetarium is located near Sacsayhuaman and its location gives advantages to stargaze the constellations, stars, and planets. Also, a professional guide will teach and make you understand Inca’s cosmovision so, some fabulous stories will remain in your memories.

After a rich and unforgettable experience in the Planetarium, we will back to the downtown area and visit a cosy restaurant. In this restaurant, it would be possible to try the Pisco Sour which is worldwide known as the Peruvian national drink. Later, we will enter a restaurant that offers mainly Roasted Peruvian Chicken. You must try this with an Inka Kola.

Before finishing this delightful evening, we will walk through the imposing Main Square of Cusco, splendidly illuminated at night, contemplating the statue in honour of the Inca Pachacutec, thus closing our night tour of the ancient capital of the Inca empire.

This tour invites you to discover the magic of Cusco, you will visit the fascinating Planetarium of Cusco, where you can admire the constellations of the southern hemisphere and learn about the Andean cosmovision guided by professionals.

What is a Planetarium?

It is a place designed to show and study celestial bodies. It has the following features: a stellar projector, 3 exhibition rooms, and 3 powerful spotting scopes.

What is the Pisco Sour?

It is Peru’s national cocktail, made from pisco (grapes distillate), lemon, egg white, gum syrup, and crushed ice. It is traditionally served in a long, narrow glass called a sour glass. It is garnished with a few drops of Angostura bitters.

What is Roasted Peruvian Chicken?

It is a traditional dish of gastronomy. Their ingredients are roasted chicken, fried potatoes, salad, and delicious creams.

When is the best time to book the Planetarium Cusco Tour, Dinner and Pisco Sour?

The best season fo the Cusco Planetarium Tour is between June to August. Because in those months we could find clear skys all day long, even at night.

What are the departure and arrival points of the Cusco Planetarium Tour, Dinner, and Pisco Sour?

Our Cusco Planetarium Tour, Dinner, and Pisco Sour starts by picking you up from your hotel, which must be within the downtown area of Cusco.

Your guide should coordinate the pick-up time. Please note that some hotels and Airbnbs may be located on streets that are inaccessible or very narrow, making it difficult for transportation to get in. We recommend that you book accommodation with good access.

At the end of the tour, you will take the transport back to Cusco city. The tour ends dropping you off near the Main Square of Cusco.

If your hotel is not located in the downtown area, where do we pick you up from for the Planetarium Cusco?

Do not worry if your hotel is not located inside the downtown area. You should contact our sales advisor in advance to coordinate your pick-up with an additional cost.

If you do not wish to pay an additional cost, you can wait for us at the Main Square.

Is it possible to change the departure date after booking the Cusco Planetarium Tour?

Yes, it is possible to change the date of your tour with a minimum of 24 hours prior to the originally booked date. No additional costs will apply. However, you should contact your travel agent to avoid any inconvenience with the new dates chosen.

We recommend that you check the availability of dates before making any changes. There are some busy times of the year when space may be limited.

Why is it necessary to pay a deposit to book the Cusco Planetarium, Dinner and Pisco Sour tour?

The initial deposit allows us to guarantee all the necessary services for your Cusco Planetarium Tour. This includes:

Entrance fees to the Cusco Planetarium must be paid in advance.

Staff such as guides and services must be booked in advance.

Tourist and logistical transportation exclusively for the group.

In this way, upon receiving your deposit (50% of the total) we can ensure the availability of the best services for the dates of your tour and avoid last-minute problems.

Remember that 50% of the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

What are the options to pay the balance of the Cusco Planetarium, Dinner, and Pisco Sour tour before the start date?

The balance payment must be made in CASH (recommended) and in DOLLARS (it can also be in soles, subject to the exchange rate of the day), directly at our offices in Cusco no later than 24 hours before the start date of your tour. Otherwise, payment of the balance is due the same day the tour starts, directly to your guide.

If your arrival in Cusco is delayed, we ask you to contact us by email or telephone to arrange another payment date.
