We will start our Maras and Moray Bike Tour by picking you up from your hotel at approximately 8:00 a.m. We will travel to our first stop in Cruzpata’s Town. Here, our expert guide will give us the last indications and recommendations before starting the bike tour. During the first stretch of this activity, we will enjoy a magnificent view of Huaypo Lagoon. This is a lagoon that houses a variety of fauna, including birds and fish.
After the first part of our tour, we will arrive at the first resting point located in Moray’s archaeological site. Here, we will have a short break and taste a delicious box lunch. We will then begin the tour of the site accompanied by our guide’s coarse explanation. As a result, you will have ample time to take great pictures and observe the enigmatic beauty of this place.
After the visit to Moray, we will continue with the bicycle tour until we arrive in the town of Maras, where we will observe its famous salt mines, an incredible place that houses a total of more than 3000 natural salt wells, which are used by the villagers for the extraction of salt and future development of products based on this input, in order to export them around the world.
To finish our Maras and Moray Tour, we will make a descent by bicycle to the city of Urubamba, where our transportation will be waiting to take us to enjoy a delicious lunch at the restaurant of your choice (not included). After a moment of rest and tasting, we will board our transport to return to the city of Cusco and conclude our incredible adrenaline adventure of the Maras and Moray Bike Tour.
