The specialized guide accompanies the group throughout the entire experience, clearly explains how to identify species, behaviors, and habitats, and adapts the pace according to the group’s level and interests.

The Huacarpay Wetland is located at approximately 3,100 m / 10,170 ft above sea level. By Cusco standards, this is a moderate altitude and the terrain is mostly flat. If you are sensitive to altitude, it is recommended to spend at least one prior day acclimatizing in Cusco before taking the tour.

Weather conditions vary by season. In general, mornings are cool, with colder temperatures at sunrise and milder conditions as the morning progresses.
