Half-Day ATV Maras Moray – ATV Tours Cusco Peru

This exciting adventure on ATV Maras Moray stars early. Our transportation will pick you up at your hotel. You will continue for an hour until to arrive to Cruz Pata community, this community is located near the magic town of Chinchero. Once you arrive at Cruz Pata, our experienced guide will give you an essential briefing, instructions on ATV diving, and the route we will follow during the tour. This practice will last about 20 minutes, during this time you will become familiar with the ATVs and be ready to start the trip.

After practice, we start what we came for! We will start the engines and head towards Moray located at 3,385 m.a.s.l./11,106 ft. Once at the archaeological site of Moray, we will turn off and park the ATVs to begin a guided tour of the impressive agricultural terraces. At this point, you will learn about the fascinating past of this site, which was actually a gigantic Inca agricultural laboratory. Our guide will provide you with detailed information about its history, and you will have time to explore and capture magnificent photographs.

After exploring this mysterious place, we will return to our ATVs and continue our tour heading to Maras’ salt mines, located at 3,000 m.a.s.l./9,843 ft. Arriving at the salt mines you will be amazed by the panoramic view of the site. The site has been producing salt since ancient times and has more than 3,000 salt ponds of different sizes and shapes. Here, you will have in front of your eyes an amazing landscape that will offers you the opportunity to take perfect pictures for your social networks.

After finishing the visit to the salt mines of Maras, you will return to Cruz Pata, where our transport will be waiting to take us back to Cusco (the transport will drop you off near the downtown area).
